When we went down 10-3, did you think we could win?

After watching our offense to that point, did you really think we could win when we went down 10-3? In years past, I would not have been worried. This year, I thought the game was over.
Your thoughts.
Your thoughts.

Nope. In fact, after the Jai Eugene interception I told my wife "We aren't doing anything with it anyway".

I did , But I thought it would require a big special teams play or a turnover .

not with the way the offense was playing plus all the damn penalties.

I thought the game was over when we kicked that field goal. If that's how we were going to play, TO into a run up the middle on third down into FG, I knew it was going to be a long night.
They knew all they had to do was not make mistakes and they win.

I did, I thought we'd get the running game going again.

i had the same reaction. i felt good for the defense because they know they are doing their jobs, but i wasn't excited at all seeing the offense come back onto the field

I thought we had a chance to win.
As anemic as our offense is, we still have the ability to put 4-5 players on the field at the same time that can take it to the house.
Unfortunately, we can't get them the ball in open space to make the big play.

Yes...I was not worried at all.
It was only when they threw in that extra field goal that I started to worry.

While sitting in section 409 I felt good that we'd played so poorly in the first half and were only down ten points. Yes, I definitely felt that if we continued to run the ball like we were we'd win the game. Only thing though...........................................we stopped running it.
Charles Scott gets almost 4.5 yards a carry and you only give him the ball 13 times?
I don't get it.

If you didn't realize how huge their td was, you have not been watching them play this year. Our offense moves backwards almost as often as we pick up positive yards.

i almost hoped we would punt on first down to get him back on the field for this to potentially happen... i really thought we had a better chance of getting a pick 6 then to score or much less really move the ball on offense

And that was the only way, IMO. Since the second half against Bama last year in the SEC CG, UF's defense has shut everyone down. Has anyone looked at what UF has done defensively over the last 7 games or what they are doing right now to EVERYONE defensively??
Man to man, all eleven on defense they are simply better than anyone, and their second string defensively is as good as anyone in the SEC.
UF, hands down, has the best defense in the country. It's not even close. Forget bama,
forget USC, whoever.
Even with a LSU "hangover", watch what they do
to Mallett and Arkansas, after Arky just hung 44 on Auburn.
For some reason, people think LSU is
just as good as UF. Everyone stated all summer if UF was going to lose a game, the only chance was LSU. If anything, this was the one game on UF's schedule everyone was pointing at.
Think that got UF's attention? If anything, UF's defense was psyched to the max.
Everyone needs to stop bitching and move on. We can still be a top 10 team this year.
