Week 7 vs Florida last year when we were 3-3 and Florida was ranked 20th.

A little different when Tennessee is 8th and undefeated and we were a blocked XP away from winning that game in W1 and being 4-0.

..because if we make that XP, we are winning in OT.

Yea people are going to use this game as a reference for a noon game but I think the circumstances are wayy different.

We had 3 losses and were coming off getting blown out by UK

This year will be Kelly's first big home game against a Top 10 team so I bet we get a much better crowd than UF last year. I just don't know what a ceiling for our crowd environment could be for a game this early though

Probably the DiNardo early years.

I was at that 1995 game when Florida crushed us in the October heat. EMS was working OT in the student section that day.

We played #1 Florida at 11:30 in 1995. Lost 28-10.

I don't know what you are talking about.

The environment for that UF game last year was really fun.

Not a bad showing against a great UF team. I sure hope our fans start drinking the night before and don't stop until the final whistle. We need all the edge we can get.

Such a shame Brian Kelly won't get to experience a night game for this either. CBS double header wouldn't allow it, but this would be a perfect 8/8:15 PM kickoff game for ESPN2.

Gotta admit I enjoyed it...better than I expected, plus we won. Was back in LC by 5:00

LSU was one of the few teams to keep it within 20 that year against Florida. It wasn’t a blowout by any means. It was 1000 degrees that day though.

Does this mean our fans will show up to the game during the 3rd quarter? The 2nd Half the stadium should be full

I was at that game and I remember the weather being perfect for football. And I had a nice date. And I was in the student section.

We bitched and moaned about it, but we had a great time. That was a fun game and Mullen still has nightmares about TDP running behind a trap
