The Auburn game for sure.

PP7 was robbed of that INT as well.

Thats why I am only saying Auburn definitely.

I won't say the Bama game fully bc who knows if LSU even scores.. but it was a terrible call.

Yea, so let's just ignore this since we were hopeless to score again that game

J Lee (09 version) would have taken over at QB at our own 35 needing a touchdown (I think) to win it. I don't like our chances.

AU 06 was stolen.

good posts, thanks, as LSU fan though I am "ok" the pp7 call, unlike NFL it has to overrule the official call, and I am not sure it was that clear, was in an int? I think so, but not 100% sure so cannot overrule IMO, the PSU laying on our player is a good one I forgot about, but we benefited from SAME thing in 1987 tie with Ohio st guess my main point is there are next to ZERO crooked officials and the mistakes rarely change the win/loss outcome...thank god..finally they ARE punished when they make mistakes and unlike 99% of us are video taped for review 100% of the time, bottom line IMO a tough job usually well done...

The Penn St. player laying on Lafell wasn't as bad as the flag for throwing the guy off.

Does anyone remember the 2007 game against Arkansas? Late in the 4th quarter Matt Flynn hits Jacob Hester for a TD which would have been ball game. Called back because of Early Doucet lining up wrong.

Next play, on 3rd and long, Matt Flynn hits Byrd for a conversion. FLAG. Holding on Helms. On the replay, Arkansas rushed 3 DLinemen and Helms was not blocking anyone. I still have no idea how the refs saw holding.

Still think LSU wins that game if not for that BS call on Helms.

True, but the spearing of our QB without a call of roughing lead to his injury and also had an impact on the game. In fact, while the PP call gets the press, that no-call was much bigger on the impact of the game.

But really, the only game I've ever felt LSU lost because of poor officiating was the 2006 Auburn game. Just a litany of awful calls. Oh well.

I remember the series as well but we should have put arky away long before that in the game. McFadden, Jones and Hillis had their way with our D-Line that game.

also, we likely wouldve won the 2006 auburn game if they wouldve called the early doucet pass interference.

it was not DPi due to the tip. Technically it should have been defensive holding....but some reason prevented them from calling that. either way we got screwed on 8 calls in that game. 4 were drive changers i believe. you just cannot overcome that on the ROAD in a place like AUBURN. If JR had somehow thrown a TD on that last pass to buster davis a holding flag was coming out i have no doubts. that game was the worst ever on any level i have seen. yeah bama 09 was bad also....but a easy replay was botched in grand theft auburn 06 also if you recall. how do you miss that when we can see it at home? Hmnnnnnnn

pellini shoulda blitzed...he had nothing to lose there and could have iced the game for us. we had the 7 point lead. he blew that one.

So was wondering, when was last time officials really impacted a game for LSU, win or lose?

If you are just going to deny what's obvious, then it's a stupid question. If you start with the premise that they NEVER have cost us a game, then why ask the stupid-arse question of WHEN they have? Obviously the only answer you will accept is "never".

Thank goodness someone else noticed that. And I agree. We were driving in their territory with the score tied. No doubt we score if not for that penalty. At least a FG. If that happens, we are driving for the winning, not the tying, TD at the end. And yes, it was complete bullshite. Helms literally never touched anyone on the play. The official just flat-out blew the call. On purpose? Doubtful, but he sure as hell blew it.

which means we win the SEC west that season, get a rematch with Florida in the SEC champ (if we dont already beat them being undefeated going into the reg season game), beat them, then beat Ohio State in the National Championship, but yea, i guess officials really havent cost us much

I don't remember Ohio State's being called for a personal foul because one of our players was lying on the ball carrier to let the clock run.

How? I have never heard of any SEC official ever being punished in any way for any call. Ever.

The outcome of that game is not the point though. The fact that replay was in existence, and PP7 CLEARLY caught the ball/stayed in, and LSU didn't get the call is still, to this day, the most solid arguement ever presented that ref's (at least those refs) had an Alabama tilt.

this!
