What happened to the delRio fan club?
Good question, his daughter is in her 14th year at LSU. Also I heard Terri called her BR Real Estate agent last week....

What about the new coach at Pittsburgh, the old Michigan st defensive cd, if he wins at pitt I would take him

If Miles was serious about being interested in the Arkansas job and took it (obviously wasn't), that would have been our shot at Fisher. It's way too tough now to picture him coming here.

I honestly think Chip Kelly is the replacement at Alabama.
Don't think he'd be able to handle the off the field situation at Bama.

No way. I don't want Jimbo.
After the way he handled the whole Jameis Winston situation the entire time that loser kid was on campus, I want nothing to do with him. He continuously defended the indefensible. Jumbo is a morally soulless individual.

Never understood why some are so eager to push him out and are already looking at the next option. We have a great coach at the moment. The fans and the players love him. Enjoy him while he's here.

He wouldn't come here. At FSU, he has to win two or three tough games a year to be in the playoffs. Too easy there.

Kelly wouldn't be able to handle the off the field stuff at Bama? Really? Have you not heard of the Red Elephant Club?

Get Sarkisian. I'll drink to that. Ha! Drunk bastard made a fool of himself.

I don't mean players getting arrested, I mean stuff like the REC.

True, he doesn't have the capital to tell them to frick off like Saban did, but Bama isn't going to hire a gimmick offensive guy either way.

I honestly don't think he would run the same offense at a SEC school. He could also go to UF when that doesn't work out with Mc.
By the way, I would say most don't want CLM to leave right this second. It's just a discussion as to who will replace him. I have a sinking feeling if he were to win a NC in the next two years he would retire on that. Just a hunch. He's put himself in good position to succeed well over the next 3-4 years. What more does he want to accomplish? He could retire right now and go down as probably the best coach in school history in my opinion.
Especially considering it's getting harder and harder to win a NC. 15 games is a lot. Complete side note, I thought the playoff would benefit the SEC, but it actually hurt the SEC. Harder to get through and win that many games.

Mark Dantonio.
-Guy runs a successful program that had been pretty mediocre to crap before he got there. Had two winning seasons in the 7 years prior to him being there. Last 10 win season was in 1999 (2 in entire history prior to him), and only won 9 or more games 8 times in school history (half of those between 1951 and 1955). Has won at least 11 games four of the past 5 years and 2 conference championships during that time.
- A defensive minded coach that has elite defenses for years now. Former Ohio State DC back in 2001-2003 where his defense was 20th, 2nd, and 16th in scoring defense in those three years. He helped win a national championship with his 2nd ranked scoring defense.
- Utilizes a pro style offense that always has a beastly run game and is not afraid to throw the ball. Only 2 of his 8 years at MSU, he didn't have at least a 1200+ yard RB, and one of those years, the leader had 948 yards. They have averaged 416 pass attempts per season and have only thrown for under 400 three times. First two years 391 and 399, and one year at 373.
- He does A LOT with little. Javon Ringer, Le'veon Bell, Jeremy Langford, Brian Hoyer, Kirk Cousins, Connor Cook, Devin Thomas, Jack Conklin, Tony Lippett, Darqueze Dennard, Trae Waynes, Jerel Worthy, Shilique Calhoun etc. These were not high ranked guys. A bunch of 2 and 3 star guys (nearly all outside of the top 870 recruits) that he has or is making stars out of. The guy knows how to coach up talent.
The only problem is his age. Let's say Miles stays for 5 more years. Dantonio will be 64 at that point. He'll still probably have 5-6 gold years in him though.
This is the guy I want most, but I'm sure other guys will arrive in the near future.
ETA: Want to see how Pat Narduzzi, a Dantonio disciple, does at Pitt.
