he needs to start with "Jayden Daniels is not the qb I thought he was." he's not a heisman candidate. while the passing stats were similar, none of daniels' passes looked like jordan travis' passes. same thing last year.

the team quit last night, and to me it looked like they quit over their qb and the coaching. then, too, the D was out on the field all night and were gassed.

out dline has to help the secondary by applying pressue all night long - there is just no getting around it. and the offense has to score a lot of points. which means we really need a good passer.

The only reason he was ever a heisman candidate is because of his age and blind stats.

He should say “I’m not the coach I thought I was”

Daniels was not great but he wasn’t bad.

there were parts of our team that were outright bad

our OL was bad. Fest drive we couldn’t score and got beat up. that’s not a “quitting on coaches or QB” situation.

It needs to start with JD. He isn't a viable passing threat. His yards came on hitting a RB in the flats and in garbage time.

Towards the end of the 1st half, FSU left Nabers in one on one coverage while the safety spied JD.

That's all defenses will need to do. Spy a safety, play tight coverage. Our WRs are going to be horribly under utilized in this offense.

Empty stats; defense plays aggressively because JD is not a deep passing threat

What’s even crazier is that our #1 WR couldn’t get any separation with a Virginia transfer on him.

I mean we really wanted that Virginia transfer. and he would be by far our best cb.

Even more troubling is that for as long as he has been coaching he couldn’t see what needed to be fixed before game 1.

JD makes the OL look worse than they are. FSU has an excellent DL.
JD holds the ball too long and tries to run too much

Daniels actually looked much more decisive in the short and intermediate throws. I think he's improved in that area. But the complete lack of a throw longer than 15 yards down field, allows the opponent to dedicate two additional pass rushers on every play. They don't even worry about a lengthy play. At all. It's gonna kill us all year.

I don't understand why you think this discredits the player. Such a stupid mindset. Good players come from everywhere.

How many 20+ yard passes did JD throw in the game? I only remember one, and it was completed.

I was hoping Nussmeier would be put in in the fourth quarter, with 10 minutes left. Throw it down the field to at least try for some points!

I said this last night but the scoreboard told me it was the throws

Granted the throes were awful, Malik was not winning those 1v1s
