How does the Player/women scandal have any thing to do with Bo and the defense.

Personally I think the losses are as much player related as coaching. Tackling this season has been horrible

We are sitting 5-1 if Stingley plays the first game and Brennan throws a good pass on the last drive against Missouri.

Blame it on coaching all you want but this team was never going to be elite this season with or without last years coaching staff.

Bo Pelini is getting $4.6MM regardless. The only delta is whatever you pay the new guy. If we don't want to pony up money, we could just hire a HS coach for like $80k. We have statistically one of the worst defenses of all time, so you can't really go wrong.

When a contract needs to be bought out, like magic, it gets bought out. If it needs to happen it will happen one way or another.

Has anyone heard of any negotiations going on with BP behind the scene? If I were getting lambasted by the fans constantly, I would be looking for a way out. Even if he negotiates a lower amount, BP will still be walking away with a nice chunk of money!

I never said he was going anywhere and yes, they are young. The personnel isn’t a total fit either in the front end of the defense. It’s been a train wreck this year but because of financials and situations going on, I expect Bo to be back next year. I made my comment based on the hypothetical of the topic and the guy I commented to on his reply. I totally think Linehan should be let go though. He has underwhelmed in both areas he was supposedly brought in for.

Well now I understand why everyone on this board thinks you're a freaking idiot! Why don't you just shut up and move on if you have nothing interesting to add to the conversation. Go find a Baylor board and spew your ignorance there! You're definitely a 5-star loser!

#1) COVID has hit everyone. I wonder how many boosters are willing to fork up 4.6 million for Bo not to coach.

Meh. A lot of people made a lot of money because of covid. It’s usually the booster types who come out unscathed

$10-$20 more on price of tickets will be the answer should a buy out occur.
