Part of me wants to be pissed off because they're ruining tradition , the other part of me is just enjoying LSU being the bully for a change

Whole bunch of fail in this thread. 1999 was a day game and I vividly remember that dreadful day:

This will mark the first Auburn day game at LSU since 1999.

Don't remind me. I graduated that semester and the highlight of that year was beating Arkansas.

That's for the posters saying the 1999 game was a 6:00 kickoff.

ok, the schedule on lsusports.net is wrong

1999 game started at 4pm according to the game notes...i'd consider that late afternoon/early evening

1999 game was a 4pm start. In September, that should be considered a day game.

1999 was the cigar game. LSUSports.net says this game kicked off at 6:00.

And this pic proves the game ended in the dark, which wouldn't have happened with a 2:30 kickoff in September.

I was a sophomore at LSU that year, and I remember this being an evening kickoff. I think the rest of y'all had too much to drink that day.

ETA: the 4 PM start gives some credence to the confusion.

It seemed like the sun never rose during the 1999 season. Worse season of football I ever seen since a lsu fan.

1998 for me. we were fricking #6 in the country going into the UGA game

1999 was so incredibly snakebit, you could say it was the most frustrating, but i think '98 sucked more considering the expectations

How can u forget? Wasn't it '06 with the VERY bad calls? The "hold" on Doucet's probable catch, the Hester "catch"....that was during the day.

The 2006 game was at Auburn bro. OP said the last time we played them during the day in Baton Rouge.

to answer your question, I did remember it. I wanted to kick Miles in the nutts after the game.
