That’s even more embarrassing, if true.

You would think there would be VR headset training for these guys that would make them so much better. But alas…

I’ve never called balls and strikes in my life outside of my kid’s little league practice years ago lol.

They amount of hate you guys have for some stranger on the internet just because he doesn’t want electronic strike zones is amusing to me.

You not wanting to change a portion of the game that could be more uniform because “muh purity of the game” is fricking stupid beyond comprehension.

You probably still use an abacus and sending fricking smoke signals.

I don’t hate you because your to fricking stupid to hate. I feel sorry you.

I wonder if your daddy knows he raised a son to be so emotionally weak that he gets this upset over balls and strikes

You can stop with your psycho babble bullshite. My dad would agree with me because he understands that if you can fix a problem you do it.

Drink your prune juice, put on your depends, & have a good night pops.

Imagine running a multimillion dollar business that relies on part time employees to ensure quality control, then willfully not using technology that is already installed that would help them be perfect in the most important and most difficult part of their job.

I sure hope we don't get the ump behind the plate that Arky-UCLA had.
He had no idea where the plate was.

Just hire better umpires. No need to use robots

The ump behind the plate has a lot more responsibility than calling balls and strikes. Maybe have an AI assist. Like the umps earpiece can buzz then the ball hits the strike zone.

I wonder if the strike zone being different for every batter is issue

We've got scientists who figured out how to launch a rocket and then snatch it back out of the air. We have self driving cars.

You think our nerds can't figure out how adjust the strike zone based on the batter?
