That's been the narrative for the past three weeks! I'll believe he's coming back when I see him run a route in a game!

So the dude with 22 career catches is going to transform the LSU offense?

Perhaps. Chase had 23 when the 2019 season started, and he won the award for best in the nation.

Hilton is very difficult to handle, and he has something none of our veteran receivers have, something we really need, which is his combination of speed and size that makes him dangerous.

Healthy, Hilton is very good.,

Again, another guy who can’t follow basic discussions. The post was in response to someone who implied that 22 previous catches disqualified someone for making a big impact. I showed someone who had done so with just 23. Bringing in other factors is moving the goal posts.

Dude hasn’t played football in 6 weeks. He isn’t coming in and take snaps away from Anderson

Just stop expecting anything form him. I doubt he even plays this year

I believe Chris Hilton is a myth. He doesn't really exist!

The bigger question is why is it when LSU gets 5 stars/Hi 4 stars WR...Sampson, watkins, Hilton etc they never excel in year 1 or 2?
Look at Bama/OSU etc their top Wrs are 17yo 5 stars who are highlight reel catches on Satursdays.
Even before Bama every year has a stud Freshman D Smith, Ruggs etc.
Is that coaching, development or system? Hankton is a good coach but why arent these kids ready game 1?
Thier kids look stronger/faster off the line and better hands.
Our Wr look ok but none have shown to be a game changer/take the top off threats so far?

I wondered the same thing. Why do we recruit these 5 stars and make them sit out the year. Even Durham would have been riding the sidelines had Kaleb Jackson not been so terrible and John Emery was not out for the season.

Never insinuated he would.
Anderson has played great. I want to point out, by way of showing how good Hilton is, that Hilton was well ahead of Anderson last year. That’s a talent we have been sorely missing

Yes. One of our fastest WR hasn’t played yet. Why does our backup OT wear #89? How many goal line packages have we seen with Taylor, Pimpton, & Green?

It's pretty impressive how we use of all of our weapons. Obviously you have Lacy who is going to be open, but the other WR's have really stepped up their game to make plays. Anderson has emerged as a big time playmaker, and CJ Daniels has become a very solid possession receiver. Then you have guys like Parker and Sampson that can come in and make a few catches, but are a threat to score.

Mason Taylor is a killer, it must be frustrating for other fans to see him just get chunks of yardage 15-20 at a time. Clearly Durham is the guy at RB, hopefully the week off will allow him to heel.

I don't think you can compare. Williams was a higher ranked recruit than any WR recruit LSU has ever signed.

On that note, it's going to be a battle to recruit if/when Cam Coleman from Auburn enters the portal.

Moore could have been that instant impact true freshman, but Oregon dropped the biggest bag.

Focusing on WR when our best RB is a true freshman…
