Halloween '59 - Cannon 87 yd TD punt return v Ol Miss.

Then made the final tackle on the 1 yd line as time ran out to end the game & preserve the victory.

LSU 7 - Ol Miss 3

While the outcome sucked, the single loudest moment I’ve experienced in TS was the 2008 Bama blocked kick to force overtime. Was also Saban’s first return to Baton Rouge

In the student section for Eddie Fuller with the TD in 1988
He was in my management class that semester. Super cool moment

Scrolled through the majority of these and didn’t see this one.. one of my first memories going to a game (yes I’m on the younger side) was 2010 Tennessee.

The clock management, snap to Jefferson, 13 men on the field, Ridley TD. Absolute chaos. Think that’s when the addiction started

Two…. For LSU, 2009 Mississippi state. Peterson interception and Chad jones punt return. Honorable mention…. Honey badger vs North Carolina in Atlanta 2010.

Against, 2007 Arkansasvs LSU. Being in the stadium when McFadden and Hillis went ham

Mauck to Green. It was the moment the world was put on notice that LSU was back and for real

Told Green at a recent golf tourney that moment sobered me up from a fifth of wild turkey. Absolutely amazing moment in TS

How about the Kentucky game on the last play of the game after the Kentucky team had already poured the water on their coach. Don't remember the year. It was a hail Mary pass from that big ole QB we had.

Lots of choices but the most exciting that come to mind immediately that I witnessed in the stadium:
-Cannon's punt return in my first game ever in TS, and Cannon running directly away from my upper deck ez seat down the sideline.
-Byrd's TD catch when the clock was running down and and it looked like Miles was going to let the clock run out before snapping the ball, but Flynn threw it in the ez for the td rather than kicking the fg. Miles carried a lucky horseshoe with him at LSU.
-Doug Moreau's catch against OM for a two point conversion on the game's last play and the reverberating stadium as fans left chanting Go to Hell Ole Miss, Go to Hell!! during my freshman year at LSU.

Live on radio: Ole Miss 1972, Jones to Davis
In person: USC 1979 - the entire game, but picking one play, it would be when Ensminger’s pass was still in the air as the clock ran out, and Carson and the DB each had a shot…

I'm so happy to see someone mention that moment in what was the game of the season up to that point, before we traveled to Bama to play the #1 Tide the next week. It always seems like LSU's 1964 season has been forgotten, and there were great moments like that Ezell to Moreau completion just a couple minutes after LSU appeared to be a sure loser that night.

But, it wasn't on the game's last play. There were two and one-half minutes left to go, and Ole Miss, with Jim "Midnight Train To Georgia" Weatherly, and a strong running game, went summarily down the field almost into reasonable FG range before the Tigers came through with the plays on defense to preserve the win.

then we were absolutely facing each other - he was running directly toward me the entire time. I was about 2/3 the way up in the north end zone.

There are so many favorites especially anything against Bama. But, the winner hands down is anything related to the Honeybadger. He was a human highlight film that could bust open at any moment of any game.
