I think that he will do great. We simply can't expect too much even though the ability is definitely there. I guess that it will all depend on how Iowa plays us. Their fans say that they don' have a very impressive secondary but they do have good LBs. This might mean good things for our passing game?

As long as Iowa can take LSU's punches, Les should keep the air attack going but if the Tigers start dominating, then we might see twice the rushes than we see passes which will bring his numbers down.

I do expect a great percentage from him though. Hopefully he can keep it around 65% but if the game ends up being a shootout with our defense struggling, that percentage could go down but his yards and TDs could skyrocket.

We are not rushing for 250-300 yards against IOWA if we can only muster 140 yards on 25 passes. They are not going to respect the pass, and you are going to have 8 in the box all day. Florida was not the same team after they lost Easley on the D line and we didn't run good against Ole Miss or Bama. Their secondary is weak and their LBs and DL good. Pass first to open up the run. Jennings needs to be out in front for the game plan, not standing at the rear. I really think we are going to light up IOWA and being conservative with 5 yard slants is not going to cut it.

16/27 257 yards 3 TDs 7 car 62 yards.

Les will not put this game on AJ. You can bank on it. Expect a run first plan.

You can expect being down early having to throw then.

I would have bet the bank on that IF our defense would be up to LSU par. Since it isn't I see Les leaving he reins tightly in Cam's hands and watching the AJ show.

It won't be an air show but it will be balanced and we will run for a couple hundred yards on their defense. This won't be an SEC to tier defense guys. They will play tough but they will bend to our will in the second half.

he can make all the throws. We're going to be slinging it for three hundred yards and 4 TDs.

If I was the coaches I think I would not try and do too much.

Let the talent around him carry most of the load.

Get the ground game working throwing in a few high percentage throws to get his feet wet.

Don't put the entire game on Jennings and I think we will win .

I don't know what to expect, I'd be pleased to see a QB who looks like he can read a defense and throw to the correct receiver.

i hope he puts up enough points to win. Freshman with very little game experience doubtful he will be able to read defense well. suspect he will need to rely on raw talent and instincts. which may not be all bad.

Right it's not like a freshman QB could possibly make it to a NCG or something like that in his first year.

I expect him to play well, but also expect Les to play down to the opponent and for the game to come down to the wire. I'm thinking a 24-20 game. Game could go either way.

If he comes out with the poise and confidence that he did against Arkansas, I can see a long day for Iowa.

250 yds combined

3 TD's

1 Turnover
