Yes State beat LSU, but in the end they were not a top SEC West team.

“Beat LSU” is putting the worst margin of defeat in 90 years very, very politely.

They return 18 starters from a team that ran us off the field last year, including two potential AA on the DL.

Where were those 18 starters and AA Defensive linemen when Auburn put up 49 points on them?

I like our chances.

Well for one their AD thought enough of their team to conduct a real coaching search and hire an up and coming candidate... Ours picked the first guy near him with an accent and called it a day.
Well said.

Alleva didn't do anything past having a Big Mac with Tom Herman at a McDonald's in Houston.

One of the great historical mysteries of LSU football is why Alleva didn't even bother interviewing anybody after Strong got fired and TH started talking with Texas.

MSU just loss their best coach in school history. Their last 5 recruiting classes show they do not have near the talent as Bama, LSU, or Auburn. I expect them to lose 6 games this year. Mullen was the main reason for their success.

Oh no. I do. Mullen in Gainesville is really bad news.

Just let me have my leading questions. Come on now....

Get over it. B*(ch if you want but O is our HC and there is nothing you or anyone else can do about it. Hope for the best, support in spirit and if it works out everyone benefits in the end. Have a nice day:)>

Except their coach. Those 3 star players might not play at such a high level now.

Face it-
We have coach O, they do not.
That’s why they’re ranked higher than us

They recruited well, they return 18 starters, and their dline is fantastic. They usually have no problem putting up points. It is a fair assumption that they will be very good this year.

The one thing I don’t understand with State that nobody is talking about is Moorhead has never coached or lived south of the Mason-Dixon Line. This is a pretty difficult conference to come into and succeed with no real ties (See Bielema).

I understand he’s a solid offensive mind, but this is a different situation than anything he’s used to. They have solid talent and experience and should be formidable, but I’m not sold on State being better than LSU in TS this year. I’m definitely not sold on him being able to have the success Mullen did there either.

They went 8-5 (4-4) last year, and just lost their HC of a decade and are being led by a first year HC who has never worked anywhere in the SEC.

If MSU beats LSU for a second consecutive year this time in Tiger Stadium O is finished.

Probably the best Dline n Sec. solid D overall. Good oline good qb. Unproven Wr. Imo outside of Bama and UGa state is our toughest opponent

DL is top 4 in SEC. Very good but not super powerful IMHO. Disagree with them being number one in SEC. I like ours, UGA's and Bama's better. LBs OK, secondary - mediocre compared to LSU standards.

Fitz needs to be healthy. Not sure if KT is ready to lead them if he has to start. Williams is a good back. CEH will end up being better in comparison. Their OL is good, not great. 9-3 to 7-5 is possible.

They DLine is better than ours. They LBs better than ours.
OLine better than ours. RBs better then ours. QB better than ours.
Although rookie head coach he probably still better than O.

On the field?

I’m not sure what auburn throttling miss state last year has to do with LSU getting their arse kicked by a team that returns nearly all of its starters??

So we’re supposed to support bad decision making and “just get over it” whenever it becomes clear we’re on a Tennessee-like cliff? The lesbian had some good recruiting classes at Tennessee too. That didn’t stop them from being curb stomped for years.

The team should do very well this year given the talent and Aranda. Anything less than 10 wins and a bowl victory should be considered a failure.
