I'm curious. In what game(s) have you been happy with Miles' coaching?

He must be a relative of the nut job in St. Gabriel with all the political banners in his yard by the road.

all of them except for the NC game. We tried the same game plan that worked in the first game against bama on Nov 11th. Should have known they would be well prepared for that. Should have attacked down the field early and often in the second matchup for the title. Probably didn't have enough confidence in his QB's to do that though but should have tried it anyway IMO.

What more does he have to do to prove to everybody he sucks as LSU's HC? If January 9th didn't prove anything to you, you're very delusional!

geez, man. this is an incredible statement. an anywhere close to objective review of les miles record as the LSU head coach COMPARED TO ANY AND ALL OF THE HC'S IN AMERICA and it is only sane and fair to conclude that he is one of the top coaches in the country. EVERY coaches team lays an egg at times (and always has). bear bryant laid eggs, ditto with ari parsegan (sp), george halas, and even the demigod nick saban. i find your quote and resulting attack as not only unresonable but irrational also. you should go join a militia or something.

All this criticism is easy to say in perfect hindsight, but the gameplan that Les went with worked the first game against Bama and got them 13 wins. I probably would've done the same at the time, especially since Georgia Southern--an option team--put the most yards against Bama all year.

I think Les is an awesome coach, and one game--no matter how big--shouldn't define the entire season and the coach's skill. The last game was ugly, but the other 13 were great. I have confidence in Miles, and I think he's right there next to Saban.

I'm glad to have him, and I hate the people's opinion that he all of a sudden sucks because he had one bad game out of 14.

.This, and the fact that CLM doesn't have the "chest" to clear the air, and take responsibility, about what the hell actually went down in that embarrassing mess. It would go a long way if he just came clean so we could all believe he won't repeat it and we could let it go. I, for one, still don't see where Les acts like he learned anything from that night, so why should I believe it won't happen again?

I'll throw this out there for you to chew on.

Maybe, just MAYBE, Miles knew that Lee was a coward and was deathly afraid to get hit. Once he's hit, it's over with. You can tell by the throws he made in the first game.

With that said, Jordan Jefferson sucks something terribly. I'm not looking to get into another JJ/JL debate.

I'm not sure a guy hiding his ID behind a message forum screen name should be calling a guy who stood in the pocket for 4 yrs while 6-5 300 DL types tried to level him a "coward".

I'm fairly certain he means in a football sense Greg Brady. Lee often would panic in the pocket. That's the whole point of pressuring the QB. The 2nd int he threw in the first game against Bama was a perfect example. He threw a terrible pass that was returned inside the 5. We were lucky that there was a block in the back on the return. From that play on, Lee was not going to play. Jefferson was the starter before the Shady's incident anyway. The record would have been the same had that never happened and he started all season.

Another thing to consider, is maybe, just maybe Alabama executed better than we did. Its hard to throw the ball down the field, when you don't have time to pass.
