What’s the record for consecutive drives resulting in a TD?

I believe LSU is at 13 right now which is insane

Well, we technically didn’t score on our last drive vs Ga St. I know it wasn’t really a “drive” and more of clock killing, but if we’re talking records it still counts

Knelt down to end the UF game too. Excluding the final drive of the GA St game and UF games since both of those were just clock-killing game ending drives, LSU has scored a TD on 13 straight drives.

That is remarkable. Definitely one of the best offenses in the history of CFB. Just goes to show defense really does win championships!

We took a knee vs Florida to end the game.

Ran the clock out vs Ga State with backups.

Maybe drives without a punt would be a more accurate stat.

LSU is dead last (first) in punts per game at 1.8. That is an insane statistic. Not even averaging 1 punt per half!

Not really. The 2019 LSU defense wasn't great. They just weren't one of the absolute worst in the country. This offense (likely) would be winning a championship but for the atrocious defensive performance this season.

Perhaps no DC in LSU history had a larger margin for error (maybe Aranda in 2019) than House. Yet, he and the staff fell woefully short of reaching one of the lowest bars for "success" any coach could ever hope for. To put it in to context, if LSU's defense was as good as Arizona State's (the same ASU that just gave up 6 TDs to Oregon in the first half), LSU is likely the favorite to win the SEC and #1 seed in the CFP. Truly a remarkable failure

No it doesn't. Texas A&M has the best defense in the country. Where is their championship?

It takes offense, defense and special teams to win a championship.
