We are truly set up for success IRT the roster, but road games at Clemson, Bama, and OM will be tough (and TAM, SC and UF come to DV). We'll need to start fast, avoid major injuries, and have a little luck!

Too early to say. We aren't done in the portal. I am hoping we convince Suggs to stay with us, and hoping we add another Oline, and 2 safeties.

I intend to go thru each position group comparing it to the previous group, after this portal window is done.

The schedule is not easy. South Carolina and Vandy used to be gimmies, and both are up and coming. Clemson has their QB coming back. I think he had 37 TDs this past year, so we will be tested out of the gate.

We will have the talent to make a playoff run, but the schedule doesn't set up as well as last season.

We have far better seasons when we play Bama and Ole Miss on the road than when we play them at home. Fact.

Time for Kelley to earn that check. This isn’t College Station.
You are right, LSU doesn't have the money College Station has

Will be a top 12 team but that doesn’t matter in set up. Will struggle to get through sec with 2 losses or less and a 3 loss team is out.

The team is poised to be better than this year, talent-wise.

It comes down to execution and discipline, which are products of good coaching. If we see this next year, the sky is the limit.

It will be a disappointment, if they don’t make it.

The team will be better next season…but the schedule isn’t as favorable (on paper) as it was this year. If they lose @ Clemson to start the season (not an easy game) they will have to sweep at home in SEC play (doable) and go 3-1 in away games at Alabama, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Vandy. It’s tough to win on the road. Only Texas and South Carolina had fewer than 2 SEC road losses this season.

Once again, the opener will determine how much margin of error LSU has. Beat Clemson I think LSU is a playoff team. Lose that one and the road is much tougher

I feel like it should be the expectation. We should be waking up planning to watch LSU in a playoff game today or celebrating their victory in a NYE playoff game.
