Obviously Lange isnt having the year that everyone hoped he would. Thats not to say he still isnt pretty damn good, but i think its fair to say his draft stock has dropped from the early first round that we predicted at the beginning of the season. My question is: where do you see Lange getting drafted? And what is the lowest you think he is willing to get drafted to leave Lsu?

I am by no means suggesting that he is going to stay

He's still a mid/late first pick. Deichmann is solidly 2nd round. Still raw at the plate but his defensive play and ability to go away with the ball when needed have gotten the attention of scouts as much as the unreal power numbers he can generate.

I hope the Braves get Deichmann - need mashers in that system

No matter where he is drafted, he is leaving. No reason at all to stay.

MLB.com just updated their prospect list. Lange was 19 in their top 100. Deichmann was 67. 4 LSU commits in the top 100.

I will honestly be surprised if Deichmann is still available in the 3rd.

I think he'll go in the 2nd. He's flash a strong arm and passable defense for his first time out there.

He's still hitting for a good average, and even though it seems like he strikes out a lot, he really doesn't relative to the rest of the country.
