Georgia 2003. My ears vibrated longer after that game.

As a follow up that USC game in 1979 really set the hook in me as an LSU fan. Back in those days you would simply present your student ID and the usher would punch it. All the seating was general admission in the student section. We all arrived early before the gates opened. It was mayhem once the gates opened and it was standing room only up and down the aisle. A truly magical night except we lost. My voice was shot all that next week.

moment the stadium knew LSU was playing for a chance to be #1 in the country was the loudest I’ve ever experienced and it’s one time in history I’ll never forget.
I was there and it was insane!

I was in the student section for the USC game and it was rocking. Lots of cups being thrown and a number of people has to seek first aid. I just think that as the stadium continued to expand, it got louder. This game should be something on Saturday. Death Valley becomes Deaf Valley!

As others have mentioned, the loudest games that I've been to:
2003 vs. Georgia
2007 vs. Florida
2007 vs. Auburn
2012 vs. Alabama
Another game that not many people remember/mention is Ole Miss in 2014. We had a surprising loss to MSU early in the year after beating them 14 years in a row. Then we had a blowout loss to Auburn just 2 weeks later. We were still a fringe top 25 team with an undefeated Ole Miss team coming to Baton Rouge sky-high after knocking off Alabama earlier in the month, followed by another top 15 win vs. Texas A&M.
That was such a gutsy performance by our Tigers and such a sweet victory because Ole Miss was a national championship contender for the first time in over a decade. That loss to LSU essentially derailed their season because they never recovered. They lost to Auburn the following week and had an embarrassing 30-0 shutout loss to a 5-5 Arkansas team, who had coincidentally shut out LSU 17-0 the week before. Ole Miss then proceeded to cap off their season with a 42-3 loss to TCU in the Chick-fil-A Bowl.

2007 LSU-Florida game. It was so loud to the point I actually Thought my hearing was gonna receive permanent damage . I heard the only game that went toe to toe with Florida 2007 was the 1979 USC game

You might have permanent hearing loss because 2003 vs Georgia was at least as loud, if not louder than 2007 vs Florida.

I was on sideline last Fla Game . When DJ made that catch late it was lit. My only time on sideline in 40 years of attending, so obviously it’s way louder in field

This game was on a different level. The others mentioned were great, and incredibly loud. But that '97 game was the greatest!

2014 LSU Bama
Until we kicked it out of bounds at the very end and set up their game tying run
Honestly this will be a rare opinion
2012 #9 LSU #3 USCe
The 50 yard JHill run to put the game away in the fourth
And Sam Montgomery’s sack down by the student section
If memory serves correctly it was fresh off the Bama loss that year and we needed a spark
Drinks were soaring through the air
Honestly might be one of my most favorite games
....... the boos from LSU Tennessee in 2010 were pretty loud too, that game was wild

When the Stanford win was announced and the fans went crazy, the Florida fans were loud too. It was the WHOLE stadium.

Auburn 2001 has to be Top 3 All Time. There was DECADES worth of Frustration that had built up & it exploded in TS.
Also 2003 Auburn
BTW loudest non SEC Game I've ever been at was the Virginia Tech Game in 2007 LSU 48 VT 7!
LSU ran the ball down the Hokies throat the whole game. Almist 600 total Yards & VaTech had less than 15p total yards!! K.Williams 130 Yds & 2 TD's, Hester 80+ & TD.
Matt Flynn & Perrilloux lit em up for 300+ yards & 2 TD's, LaFell had 120+ yds Doucet 75 & 1 TD.

It was the 97 Florida game for me I will never forget that game....
As for the game I developed a horrible migraine headache and every time LSU got a first down and the fans chanted go tigers. I had to bend my head over to relieve some of the pain. But I never left the game.
