What's the goal of LSU baseball every year?

This isn't the glory days of the Skip era where LSU had a advantage over nearly every program in the country. In the current climate of college baseball I would say its earn a top 8 seed.

For CPM it's just to show up to work. For a good portion of the fan base, it's to make sure and think of every built in excuse imaginable so that the argument for pulmonary seems air tight to them.

Agree to an extent. Except you have to win more than 1 CSS game
in 7 seasons.
Explain Casey at Oregon State. Clearly at a disadvantage, but they win. The #1 class in 14 has been run off for the most part. This freshman class has talent, but next year REALLY concerns me.

What a defeatist attitude. LSU has an advantage over most teams except for the coaching staff.

In fairness, that #1 class got messed up big time when Mac Marshall left the team after signing so he could go pro instead. And then Godfrey turned out to be a head case and left. Along with a few others who left after things didn't pan out.
Losing Marshall alone probably would have dropped that class to about #5.
