Last night
On the road
Against Alabama
Ranked #4 in the nation

We played basically a D- game at best

And STILL!!! Had a chance to win

We have so much talent on this Roster. We could have won last night for crying out loud. But we continue to be our own worst enemy. Fumbles, penalties, dumb play calls, dumb coaching decisions, crucial drops, shanked FGs. It's so infuriating. We should have got our doors blown off last night but we didn't. That's what really sucks to know we have the talent to go 4 qtrs with anyone in the nation but we're just so incompetent in every phase of the game.

So much talent? Who on the offensive line could start on any SEC team? After this season, what SEC team would hire any of the offensive coaches? Whoever the next coach is has got to hire the best available offensive and defensive coaches that can evaluate talent and most importantly develope that talent (upward)!

There’s a difference between talent and execution level. We have talent. But the talent isn’t executing.

For me,it’s the poor OL play.

We were suppose to have a great OL

If they were as expected, we’re having an entirely different discussion.

That’s LSU FB since 2020 no leadership, no execution and slipping into mediocre status! It has some very good individual players but not a good team! Coaching is subpar which leads to lower standards especially in an era of kids making more than their position coaches and nobody has good fundamentals!

Talent?? Minus our Center, who would play for any team in the conference??

The DL & LB corps have been destroyed by injuries.

That said, the biggest issue is the play calling. It’s beyond atrocious. As bad as the OL play is, the play calling is making it worse.

I think our OL was always sus.

To me, we have Perkins who did make a few plays but could have made a dozen and we have Nuss, who literally looked like he was purposely throwing the game.

It astounds me that the OL coach is still employed. No excuse for the horrid play from that group.

If not for our offense, we could have won that game.

Yeah Perkins is a certain disappointment. I noticed all year how ineffective he was on pass rush and shadowing mobile qb’s.

Yep, the Ramos miss hurt. We don’t get beat deep at the end of the 1st half and we are right in the game.

Agree. Delane and TreyDez are the only 1st rounders on the roster. DJ could develop into one.
