These Tiger baseball players are missing something from a mental standpoint that Skip Bertman was able to connect with and get a desired result from. This showed against Arkansas today and I fear it will show up again in the quest for Omaha. Geaux Tigers

Yep Skip never lost games in the SEC tournament.
Skip was the greatest coach in the sport but he wasn’t perfect. The legend of Skip has far outweighed the actual accomplishments of Skip and that is truly saying something.
I’m almost convinced there are people on here that think LSU never lost a game in the 90’s.

Timely base hits with runners on 2nd and 3rd is what has been missing. So many times recently, LSU has had runners in scoring positions with 0 or 1 outs, and the hitters failed to put the ball in play, which, quite often would have scored a run and moved runners up. LSU has failed to do that recently and that alone must change....take runs when just putting a ball in play produces.
