He's been either striking out or grounding out weakly to 2nd. I wonder if his wrist is hurting again.

CBs in the dirt are his kryptonite. He will not play a game in the MLB

I don’t think he’s 100% & he overcompensates by swinging out of his shoes

Not seeing the ball well or guessing wrong a lot. He may still be hurt.

It’s called trouble with the curve.

He is going through this thing in baseball that happens called a slump. They happen to every baseball player at every level. I understand some of you guys that only watch baseball last weekend in May and June wouldn’t know what that is.

Him hitting .280 this year is a glaring indictment of coaching.

Glaring. That is not a .280 hitter.

stop making excuses for him. Needs to go back to work on the basics and work on a tee

Last at bat could’ve gone much differently. First pitch has been high all night for LSU, Blue calls it a strike. Barely goes past plate on 2nd pitch. Easily could’ve been 2-0/3-0 and he would’ve gotten a fastball. Instead the count allows them to throw him nothing but curveballs and he goes down swinging.

Can’t hit a curve ball and he looks at to many good pitches.

I’ve watched almost every game this year and I’m a huge fan of him he just doesn’t look comfortable out there I was just seeking information if he was hurt or not no need to come at me full blast

He thinks too much at the plate in my opinion. He needs to just be the great hitter he is and trust his talent.

a 2 month long slump so far. I hate seeing him come to the plate with men on base.
