Cut out all of the damn commercial breaks to get the games back to a reasonable length of time.

What does the length of thr game matter if you're leaving halfway through anyway? At least stay 3 hrs then use this lame arse excuse.

I blame social media

The only reason people show up is to take selfies to post on social media. Once they get enough likes, they leave.

I'm almost a millennial, but you pussies who need better wifi at a game so you can watch other games need to jump off a fricking bridge. Pussies

I'm not riled up. I sucked it up and went to the game. Left with 6 min left. MSU still had 6 points when I walked out. But during all those timeouts, I ponder why the people around me were leaving before halftime. A group of 4 showed up to their seats about 2 min into the game, and left about 5 min before halftime.

If we're gonna get brutally honest to solve the problem of fans leaving early, replace Miles with a better coach and staff.

NFL games games have figured it out. You can bank on the games being 3 hrs long. Not sure why college football hasn't figured it out yet.

All the administration has to do is shorten the game, decrease humidity by 50%, improve parking so people aren't parking near Sorrento, and improve traffic. Should be simple.

I was just going to post about this. It's really awful seeing the stadium empty because the fans leave early.
Its being televised nationally and makes it look like the LSU fan base is now entitled and complacent.
It also quiets the stadium and allows an opponent to gain momentum.
Even the student section was clearing out. It's a shame.
Stay for the full 60. Win or Lose.

Halftime needs to be shortened. All kidding aside, it really does.

Trash saints and all other NFL fans seem to fork the 8 bucks over.

Pretty sure LSU can afford it.
Go to a bowl game and pay attention.

They really need to do something.
Last night was pathetic. Empty seats all game long.

The administration has the power to tell espn and cbs to have less commercials so the game goes by faster? No chance in hell that's happening. The only things they could do is sell beer and try to improve traffic. Starting a game earlier would be worse cause people don't want to bake in the sun.

This really sums our "fans" up best. Bandwagon fans at the finest.

OMG I can't be believe the team gave up when half the crowd gave up at half.

I graduated in 07. The atmosphere has changed on campus. Here's what I think

- moving tailgating away from campus unless you pay big money. Used to be tents and tailgates all through campus. Now everything has shifted over to the Nicholson corridor.
- shifting parking away from campus. I was in school during the Saban years and never had a big problem getting off campus. But when you take 100,000 people and shoehorn them into a smaller space, problems are bound to arise
- Miles fatigue. You'd have to be naive to think that this hasn't weighed on the fanbase for the last 5+ years.

Parking garage would be a good idea, not sure where to put it.

The biggest empty seat problem is the gold chair back sections. We should have good tv's showing the game right outside the gates, so the second half seat fillers can watch the game until a seat opens up. As people in these sections leave before the game is over they must turn their ticket stub back in, so it can be given to someone else.
