Nah. I’m all for it for a couple of plays, but we aren’t running I or under center (other than goal line and sneaks) for an entire game out of nowhere because one play worked well.
Do the one thing that has worked the best so far this season- RUN OUTSIDE. Jet sweeps, quick pitches, outside zone, counter- attack the edges with numbers and make their CBs and Safeties, their weakness, tackle our backs and WRs. Use our speed with Johnson, Brown and Anderson. Run the shite out of their LBs and DEs.
The issue so far this season is that, other than the 2nd half of the Tech game, we haven’t stuck with what has worked the best. If this is what we are decent at, go Matt Canada and ride it into the fricking ground. Then use motion fakes to keep the defense guessing. After running outside and passing, run at the middle once the defense has to spread out.
