Saban is out to send a message to LSU period. I love the guy and hate the guy for what its worth.

I say we destroy Clemson (after having taken liberties with their women), but when we reach the end of the game where the "SEC" chant begins instead we should start chanting "frick You SEC".

Seriously a movie scenario.
Louisiana schools decide to tell the NCAA and BCS to suck their balls, and do this, and eventually the SEC becomes an independent athletic association as a result.

Dude I don't reallly care, I was just responding to him. He says he wanted a subtle way to show SEC the displeasure with the bowl pairing. Your so much smarter than everyone here, what do you suggest?

Use the method Miles does to get raises and/or extensions.
Set up totally "behind the scenes" meeting by LSU unofficial emissaries with the comissioners of say the Pac 12, Big 12 and B1G Conferences. Let the word of said meetings leak out. If asked about it at press conferences or such just say "as always, we consider all options to determine what is best for LSU".
It ain't worth much because everyone knows we wouldn't go. But it's the best way I can think to send a message. And hell, it helps coaches get raises all the time when everyone knows they ain't going anywhere.

remember in 1996, when we made it to the Peach Bowl under DiNardo .. we didn't travel too well to that game at all .. so, in 2000, when the bowl bids were being dished out, Saban and the LSU Administration basically begged the SEC office to get us in the Chick Fil A Bowl instead of the Indy Bowl .. then Saban gave his big "take ownership of your team" speech to the fans after we were selected, campaigning for the fans to show up .. and we did .. and it was a great game .. probably marked the beginning of this Golden Era of LSU football ... so, how ironic would it be if we didn't show up for this game ?

next yrs schedule is much more impodrtant to me than the bowl game thing. the sec hosed us, esp after we had to play two top 10 teams from the east this year. ONCE AGAIN, bama skates playing ut and uk while we play florida and georgia. this is a one year schedule and bama probably wins the west because of it. yes, we still can win it but it is bull shite for them to have THE EASIEST SCHEDULE IN THE SEC once again.

I'm not going. I think it's time to remind the SEC who pays the bills! They all get to play with our money. I going to watch the bowl games on TV this year and drive 2 miles to watch Vandy in the Music City!
