Do you think Pelini will run Zone and Zone blitz?
He better make some serious adjustments.

Stingley to WR1, Ricks to WR2, Flott to WR3, Ward to WR4, Evans to transfer portal

Well, and even if had played well yesterday (which they didn't) might have seen this anyway...
With DL doing well and being disruptive and Ali Gaye a force to be reckoned with, he might (should?) start leaving those S back. Every big play they were out of position with part of that being too far up. And at the same time crossing routes were open all day.
HAVE TO clean up whose responsibility is who's. When last years leading rusher can make it through the line clean, do a 7 yd deep crossing route all the way across the formation, catch the ball, make it to the sideline and gain 20 yds before being touched is unacceptable. Where are LBs? Where are S? At the same time there's no safety over the top. It boggles the mind. Did the S's flip to another dimension? They literally disappeared when they aren't deep but RB is that clean running a crossing route with significant YAC.
On a positive note he used Cox excellently. Blitz, cover, gap control. Helps that he is an experienced stud to start with. But he made the offense account for him. I'm not sure about the other LBs... were they responsible for Hill? Who was responsible for the RB (see above)?

Yesterday was begging for the LaRon safety blitz

Praying he has Stingley lock down half the field

Frustrating thing is I saw zero defensive adjustments all game. Kept thinking Pelini has gotta shift into some type of zone or do something to stop from getting killed on the crossing route, but absolutely nothing.

It hurt alot not having Stingley and Logan. They just weren't getting that middle pressure on the QB.

#1 change, keep Stingley away from whatever the hell he’s allergic to!
