i'd like to see the guy get a chance personally. however, i do not see them doing the same type of things from the receiver spot anyway so i don't believe that is possible. randle will play a ton because he can run that 7 yard slant and catch it over the middle.

i really don't see how it can happen. I mean if the reports were correct and Molton would have started over both i doubt RJ starts over Randle.

Didn't RJ almost transfer last year?

The same way I felt when Justin Vincent was getting carries in 2006 and Keiland Williams was on the bench.

It wouldn't shock me. We've had plenty of "big time" "allstar" WR's that didn't make much impact early in their careers.

Unless Rueben is Julio Jones and 6'4" 225, I don't expect much this season.

julio had an NFL body and physicality at 18 years old

randle is more explosive and a better athlete, but he doesn't have JJs body. sorry

Early Doucet comes to mind.

Given all the hype he received coming out of high school, I was all but ready to declare him a bust after his sophomore year.

I'm rooting for RJ to breakout. He Is a really great athlete and team player. He could have punked out and transfered due to lack of playing time. I wish him luck!

dude

you act like certain biases can't exist with a human coaching staff

certain biases like starting upperclassmen who are inferior early because they are upperclassmen

i've heard that RJ will be the #4 WR over randall. that just doesn't seem to be right unless he's turns his body around

And the coaches never make a mistake. Clearly Malveto was the best hire Miles could have made. Clearly we should have just keep running JV up the middle against Auburn in 2006. Clearly the best move was to keep Chales Scott on the bench in the second half against Kentucky in 2007. Fear da HAT!!!

however, randle's tougher and will get the tough yards. not a highlight reel, but extremely consistent. also, uses his body well. he's a michael clayton clone with better athleticism

IF Jackson looks like he always has, either RR is not very good, or the coaching staff is making a poor decision.

If Jackson could not earn playing time last year, I can not imagine he sees alot this year.
