In talking about the toughest games on our schedule this year, I think with the first three weeks of the regular season played, the only choices are really @Alabama and @Ole Miss. Both these games should be very tough for LSU especially since they are away.

I would probably have to say Alabama will be the tougher game. Even though LSU has been historically good against Bama in Bryant-Denny, Nick Saban fields a dangerous team this year. They are good in every aspect of the game except QB. I think Alabama has also proven to us that they have one of the most underrated two-minute offenses in the country (2014 & 2012). I think in order for LSU to win this game, they would have to be up with two scores late in the game to seal the victory.

Ole Miss is tough too and will be looking to beat us after we crushed their playoff hopes last year in Tiger Stadium. However, I don't think they field as many good athletes on their team as Alabama and I think their victory against Bama was primarily luck.

That being said, our November schedule is brutal.
@Alabama
Arkansas (trap game for sure)
@Ole Miss
Texas A&M

What do you think is our toughest game this year?

I don't think Arkansas will be a trap game

For whatever reason they usually look stronger at the end of the year and I doubt they'll be overlooked

You think our worst loss of last season will be a trap game? (Sans Auburn, but auburn was top 5, Arkansas was winless for two years in SEC)

Alabama, they're inside the players' heads and unless they have 5 turnovers again they'll be tougher than ole miss

Alabama. Ole Miss will be tough, and A&M will be interesting. There will be liver disease from the amount of shots people take for how often the Chavis/LSU drama is mentioned.

Im honestly more worried about A&M, but if someone has anything they want to say to make me feel otherwise, please do.

If Alabama loses to Georgia October 3rd I could see Alabama losing its edge. Alabama has been National Championship or bust for so long.

This. Ole Miss has zero running game, they not only have to get the better of DBU, they also have to stop LF7 to control the tempo of the game. Nick Saban with his back to the wall scares me way more.

Glad we have A&M at home. But so far they have displayed nothing to make me believe we can't score 30+ on them.

Their run D is its usual shitty self.

Alabama's bust years:
2008: 12-2
2010: 10-3
2013: 11-2 (?)
2014: 12-2

Shite, these guys suck

I'm still not convinced ole miss is that great of a team. It took 5 turnovers and a lucky touchdown for them to beat bama. I think 7/10 times Alabama wins that game. So, I think the toughest test will be Alabama. They have the ability to control the clock just like LSU does with the run game. If the defense can shut down Henry and force them to throw I believe we have a pretty significant advantage over bama. Stopping fournette, Guice, and Harris from running the ball is a task I'm not sure anyone can manage at this point.

Bamas defense is specifically set up to stop teams like LSU.

I think our offense is better than Bamas and they out up 500 yards on Ole Miss

Alabama did not really match up well in ground game when 300+ No.5 at nose tackle was fresh so we better be prepared to run against him in fourth quarter!

We better have a damn good passing offense to stay in the game till fourth quarter and I don't mean little chicken shite ones either.

And Les get a good nite sleep cause Coach Freeze has one tricky, innovative offense mind.
