Do you think they were really just sitting in offensive meetings, keeping their mouths' shut and collecting a paycheck? Were they just muttering under their breath that the practices were too long? That seems improbable to me but after last night I kind of believe it.

I don't think I could work for a boss that I truly believed was completely incompetent, in a position where I had no independent authority. I would have been on the first plane out of town. I guess it's hard when your making $500k+ a year.

It's hard to make changes when you win. That was the biggest problem with Les, he won too much to really see his flaws.

Miles has final decisions on plays, and Cameron was probably for what Miles was doing. The other coaches would probably get pushed under the rug, especially with those two.

Si

You aren't going to go against your boss too strongly bc he might fire you for doing so.

Miles was the boss. He held their livelyhood in his hands. Do you openly critisize your boss?

I'm sure they all talked about it behind closed doors, which probably explains how seamless things looked. Been a long time coming

Absolutely not, but I have a pretty good rep in my industry, and I think I would have tried to find a new job. I would just be miserable working in that environment. Assuming I could make a lateral move to work for a guy I believe it in, I would probably do it.

This is why I never blamed the Chief for doing what he did. He could see the writing on the wall.

I've been saying that 2011 ruined Les as much as 2008. That stubborn man routinely waited for the defensive or special teams big play to bail the offense out. "Just keep punting and playing field position. Sooner or later we'll get a scoop and score."
