If there had been 4+ seconds you may make em punt. The TO was Kate but worth the shot

Everyone wants to forget what happened a few iron bowl when Saban didn't cover all potential threats with 2 second on the clock

The two situations are nothing alike. In any manner.

For the last 11 years I've been perpetually mystified at our TO, game clock and play clock management

his defense I'm sure he was calling timeout well before 1 sec, but by the time the play was over and the clock stopped it was obviously at 1 and thus no chance at getting what they were trying to get (chance at block) While it didn't work in this case due to the time, I absolutely like the strategy of using the entire half and making a team do something that Michigan showed is this year that Ya Never know what can happen

This is one of les's biggest issues. He should have been in the refs face as soon as the last play was over. The TO should have been called in plenty of time, but it's like he just remembered he was coaching a game out of the blue.....

He was immediately on the ref, and specifically said he wanted time with 1 sec. Was on TV and everything.

When your job is being decided during the game you are trying to delay the inevitable or at least what we all thought was going to be the inevitable.

I was fine with it as I thought more time would be on the clock.
