As for the OP --- yes it was lame --- but when our team is carrying VANDY into the 4th quarter with a 10-3 lead --- you just aren't going to get a lot of enthusiasm out of the crowd.
and this is probably the time when your team needs your support the most. yelling your arse off when the team runs on the field is nice...but getting involved a crunch time is energy better spent. ya know...just because one player is having a bad nite is no reason to disengage from the team and program.
personally...I think the staff and team put in a great effort but too many so-called tigerfans get their feelings hurt if we aren't winning by 40. if that bullshite continues it is going to be a very quiet season.

I was in 115 or 116, the people by the bad and about half way down stood up but no one else. My section was horrible.

Boring sloppy play does not excite crowds

I agree...a good show of purple and gold but not much cheering. But then I was at the 20 near the Vandy band/student section. I could not hear our band at all even if the Vandy band wasn't playing. That being said, there still wasn't much to cheer.

hell yeah, the vandy fans were arguing with each other around me, some were saying i should shut the hell up, others were saying i wasnt doing anything wrong, it was great!!!!

It was hard to hear the golden band from tigerland in that section. I got loud on defense...mostly 3rd downs.

Didn't go to the Vandy game but was in atlanta and I can't believe that anybody thought the fans didn't bring it there.(Sec#119 row 15 1&2)
We never got to sit down in the game, cheered every play, couldn't believe I paid 65$ a seat and never used them. Maybe I should have gone to the Vandy game I would have at least got to sit.

I agree. Our fans at the game sucked (for LSU standards) and didnt get into it at all. Id say only 1 in 20 fans did the chineese bandits and almost everyone was sitting down and not making any noise. It was by far the lamest Ive ever seen our fans....that said the game sucked and we did take over half the stadium. Id say there were 15-20k LSU fans there

Section U 13th row for vandy.
Me nor anyone around me sat or stopped screaming the whole time, both games.....
Maybe it sucks up at the top
Yep - the crowd near the band (I'm assuming to the side was where the students were) were typical of the student section. The band was in the front of Section V and the crazies were in the front of Section U.
