What was the need to add on the Tiger Stadium?

It's so our stadium can get fairly smaller and so we can lose as much money as possible and to remove all tickets from students..

season tickets have been sold out every year for decades...considering that, I can't see why they would not add more seats...

Suites have been in high demand. You have alot of rich people that don't want to watch LSU play in rain or 110 degree weather. In addition to stadium club, they're only adding on 2,000 more seats. My guess is to move visitors up there and offer more lower seats to season ticket waiting list.

Simply put, if you're looking for an atmosphere that would rival the 79 USC game or 97 Florida game it ain't gonna happen. Tiger Stadium is and never will be the same as it once was IMO.

I agree completely...the stadium is now full of socialites who sit in seats owned by the company that their husband works for...I have a few folks that sit around me who talk non-stop about any and everything except the game that is going on...
