Yeah, because when Georgia Tech beat them, Georgia Tech didn't have any talent did they? People forget that we got beat by a damn good team with 2 NBA first rounders and a great coach.
Plus, LSU's big men were raw as hell.

Good points. I do think, however...we could have and should have done better in the regular season so as to have gotten a better seed and not had to have played Ga. Tech in the second round.

I hope lSU has learned their lesson when you get a winning coach ride that winning coach, they don't grow on trees if you do get rid of a winning coach you better be sure that you have something coming Or you keep him !

Technically Dale was not fired, and I don't think Dean had the sack to...but are you saying we should have begged Dale to come back?
Dale's teams gave me some great memories, but I think it was time, in fact maybe a year earlier might have worked out better for us.

Brady won SEC championships and went to the Final Four on about the same pace (avg number of years between) as Daddy Dale.
TIL that Brady had multiple final 4s
And Brady can't sniff this

I remember Dale and the Hustlers
Dale's first of many upsets; defeated the Memphis State Tiger team that wound up in the Final Two, losing to Bill Walton's UCLA Bruins.

You shouldn't say things like to people you don't know he might be the wrestler down the st, if you told me that you would be slapped around by a 65 year old man and I hope you live down the street !

Great documentary. It's a shame we couldn't capitalize on winning a ship with all that talent.

Shaquille was not "SHAQ" yet, he was a freshman. Stanley was out of shape and had sat out a year. CJ had been " the man ", who was more a scorer than PG. Had they all stayed another year, I think they would have put it all together.
I enjoyed the show. Much love on display.
