Honestly, and I’m not a major college coach obviously, but there’s nothing about Casen Evans that has ever said to me he’s a Friday night starter that will give you 6 to 7 innings.

So you can start there that for some reason, Jay and Yeskie felt like Evan’s was gonna be penciled in as our number one guy.

But they know him and they see him every day and I don’t.

The talent on this team is pretty damn good. There is a reason they are #1 in strikeouts.

But talent alone doesn’t get outs and win games. Little to no development and lack of consistency holds back whatever talent is there.
