he was incredible today

I wouldn't want to see him running the spread with SEC caliber athletes.

He needs a new helmet or a haircut.

He isn't bad, but or D was better.

He is lucky to be alive after some of the hits he took.

He earned some respect. Good mobility and escapability.

He looked GREAT today. How many first down drops did he have? How many times did he make something out of nothing while running for his life?

His throwing accuracy was better than I thought it would be. He can be an NFL player if he keeps improving, IMO.

He's very good.
Apparently some folks didn't notice that he didn't have much of a supporting cast out there. His receivers were awful, IMO. How many drops?
And give the LSU defense credit: they were even better than advertised. The secondary played very well except for 3-4 plays. Same with LB's. And our hitting was so fierce none of the Appy receivers wanted to catch the ball.
I'm glad he doesn't play at Auburn or Bama, where we couldn't key on him so much.

I have to say, I wasn't impressed. Not trying to be a homer, but it seems like after the build up of this guy on this board all offseason by App fans, I was expecting something more. I was much more impressed by Tyrod Taylor of VT in his limited duty in our opener last season, and they are similar QB's.

He's elusive, but he's not even in the same league as Tim Tebow like some of you App fans wanted to believe.

I was impressed with his toughness and composure. He definitely didn't get ANY help from his team, but he never quit or looked rattled. He is probably the best player in the FCS and will get a look from the NFL if they can find a place to play him.
