Not 100% but first round for sure. Might do 2nd round also.

Sanders’ dad was just on AFR. He gone. Dad seemed confident that he’s a top 10 round pick though, possibly as even high as 3rd round.

That may mean they're negotiating an underslot deal that still gets him like $250K plus and allows the team to use the difference on someone else.

ETA: Which is to say that Sanders getting drafted in the 3rd round, while it seems like a stretch, is not out of the realm of possibilities. Especially for a team like a Royals with a ton of early picks, a huge draft purse to spend, and the want to rebuild their farm system with high upside high school guys.

In other words keep your fingers crossed the royals don’t pick anymore LSU players or signees

Royals: $12,781,900
Rays: $12,415,600
Tigers: $12,414,800
Giants: $11,747,500

I think these are the up to date bonus pool numbers, I have to check on the Padres though. These are the top 4.

ETA: The Padres just traded for an additional $800+ in bonus pool. They've previously drafted and negotiated with Sanders. They've also been tied to a couple Vandy commits. So here's to hoping they take Sanders and save enough to draft Kumar Rocker as well.

From what I read the Detroit Tigers got 2 late picks in the first compensatory rd from losing a player (?). They have one of the smaller pools of money to work with. That's who I'm hoping goes after Tuang late in the first.

Hopefully somebody jumps on Rocker early. I don’t want to see him in college.

The hot word on the street is that the Yankees are high on him at 23. Pretty much worst case scenario.

The rumored number for Turang was $2.5MM. He would have to fall below the 27th pick for that to be over slot.

I don't know how real that number is though.

I really don't expect him to make it to campus.

CBS just mocked him 23 to the Yankees. It’s not out of the realm of possibility but not likely.

Landon coming to lsu would be huge. I will say lsu can use Bergman and Cabrera to show you can go to college for the experience and get in Bergman's case get to the show.

Fangraphs just released their final mock. They have Turang going 29 to the Indians.
