So the game will not be pushed to tomorrow (9am) if they can get the game started by 11:59pm?

I don't think there is a hard and fast rule. But I feel like in the past, they didn't start any games past 1030 pm central time.

Well if you want to get "technical", the SEC Tournament manual states game splayed on Tuesday are single elimination whereas games played on Wednesday through Friday are double elimination. So if the game scheduled for today starts after midnight we should make the case that we would have to lose twice to be eliminated.
