True, but football pays for everything else. Not even baseball makes money at LSU (at least it didn't as late as 2006). If football goes in the shitter and fans leave LSU won't have the cash to go after the top coaches in other sports

while this is true (and you could probably include basketball w/ those 2), it doesn't matter. you could donate $100k to TAF to get football tickets but that doesn't mean your check is going only to the football program

Truth. You think it is a coincidence all the other sports have gotten better (other than baseball) now that football has gotten back to elite status? More donors = better women's basketball, softball, etc.

football is the only sport at lsu that turns a profit. mens basketball and baseball both come very close and essentially break even, but football is the only one that actually comes out on top

JJ isn't throwing picks but honestly...that is about all I can say at this point. His completion % was decent tonight but frick he can't throw deep.

Les Miles is a shitty coach and is lucky that LSU has enough talent to overcome shitty coaching, although they weren't too good at it last year. LSU is on a downswing and he won't be coaching there in 3 years.
