Why would he leave knowing he would be our #1 guy, he already knows the playbook, and he has a QB thats capable of getting the ball to him.

Where could he go, and get a better situation than what he already has?

Maybe he's testing the waters for a big payout.

May not want to go anywhere. Just leveraging a deal. Same with Pimp Juice.

There could be lots of reasons. Maybe he doesn’t love Sloan or Hankton. Maybe he didn’t like how he was being used. Maybe he didn’t like the fact that he ended the year with zero touchdowns. Maybe he’s getting offered more money. There could be several reasons.

He came here in the first place because we were the highest bidder the first time around. Dude just wants another pay day, but fails to realize he will get drafted and make way more if he sticks around another season and has a solid year.

He’s not a #1 WR

Nothing else to say, spot on.
This will happen every year that that a player has a good season and can shop around for a bigger payday. Even if they're happy

This is the correct thinking. There are so many things that go into it, both on and off the field. Others have speculated he wants to play with his former QB. Maybe he wants to be closer to home so family can come to his games.

People move on for various reasons. Some obvious, some not.

Most college kids don't make decisions from a long-term perspective

If you haven’t figured out the main reason why any player leaves a team by now (especially a starter) then we can’t help you.

Unless those injuries just masked his ability to a great extent, he's not #1 WR material.

Every time somebody leaves, why do yall automatically assume its about money?

Daniels went from having over a 1000 yards & 10 TDs at Liberty to 400 yards & 0 TDs at LSU.

He has 1 more year to improve his draft stock. Maybe he wants to go to a school that will provide him a bigger role in the offense and more targets?

Hes leaving cause hes not the #1 or #2 aa and hilton are 1 & 2.

They probably do told him they are bringing in a guy from the portal. This would put him at 3 or 4

He's not as talented as AA or Barion Brown assuming we pick him up. He's a very solid WR and is more technically sound from what we hear coaches say, but the ceilings of AA, Brown, Hilton, and Nic Anderson out of OU who we're fighting for is higher.

While this is true, its eye opening across college football to see how many starters are going in the portal. It's not just back ups. I would figure those have to be money related.

ok, spinoff question. Idk what LSU was paying him but who is gonna pay him more vs. his production and upside?

I'm assuming he's looking for a one year grab bag, which is short sighted if he has NFL aspirations
