If there is a righty on the mound, I would drop Jones further

Can't put Jones and Frey back to back. Their strikeout rates are too high.

Such a weird thing to say, but I don’t know that I'd want to move Stanfield out of the 9 spot. He’s just been too good where he's at.

We have to change something up...

Most at-bats last night? Jones
LOB last night? Jones - 4, Braswell and Frey - 3

Close, but this is the best alltime lineup (lol):

1. Alex Bregman (SS)
2. Todd Walker (2B)
3. Dylan Crews (CF)
4. Eddy Furniss (1B)
5. Tommy White (DH)
6. Brad Cresse (C)
7. Albert Belle (LF)
8. Brandon Larson (3B)
9. Blake Dean (RF)

Skenes, Nola, McDonald as my starters.

Louis Coleman (my favorite all-time tiger), Matty Ott, Rick Greene, and Fontenot out of the pen.

I also liked Mahtook, Theriot, DJ, Deichmann, Stevenson (career .350 hitter and about as good as a glove as there has ever been @ LSU - just liked Dean too much)

Put Stanfield ahead of Jones.

That way they choose to walk a mediocre hitter with good speed so they can pitch to Jones.

We don’t want opponents walking great hitters. We want them walking great base runners.

If Jones leads off then Jay deserves to sit the super out.

He also acts like a leadoff hitter in front of the best hitter on the team
