Better chance against Georgia Tech than a team that slings it.

Georgia Tech, Iowa, Michigan State

All have excellent run games, but below-average passing games.

NC - Good game
Va Tech - edge to Va Tech
GT- Tough game. Offense is unique.

Iowa - Good Game
Michigan State - Good Game

Memphis - Should win.

Not many gimmees.

Any chance we get FSU in the Peach? I'd like to see that game personally.

ga tech would probably do the exact same thing to LSU's D that they did to UGA's

Yep, because UGA had a month to prepare.

LSU actually matches up physically quite well against GaTech.

The only problem is they would need to play disciplined and tackle, and that's not happening.

you could swap in about every one of our opponents for GT and this would be true

People do realize that Georgia Tech did have a few off games this year, right?

Boston College held them to 19
Va Tech held them to 17
Gardner Webb held them to 10
Virginia held them to 17
North Carolina held them to 7

Sure, the last two games have been unbelievable. But they have been stopped.

Stopping GT requires defensive dicipline. That is LSU's weakness. Not sure you can teach that in a month. Maybe the interim/new DC can.

I hoping for Georgia Tech. We know that the Tigers can't stop a passing attack.

The problem is, just about anyone we face could put up 30-40 points on our defense, and the way our offense is constituted, it'll be hard for us to match another team point for point into the 30s and 40s. For sheer winability, Memphis is probably the best bet; they've put up some decent numbers and their offense appears pretty balanced, but a lot of the numbers come against chump opponents.

No kidding. GT ran around, through and over Georgia yesterday. What a show they put on.
