So that whole mth & a half when the bats were struggling, CPM deliberately sat a player who was "having great practices". Because he wanted to play one of his favorite players instead.

Maybe because CMP, who has absolutely NO coaching experience, hates LSU and wanted LSU to lose games?

The sharp eyes at the Rant discovered his nefarious plan. YEAAAAAA for the Rant.

I hate when parents think their kids are better than they really are. It starts in tee ball and I guess it never ends. What round in the draft are we? O 37th enough said

He is not coming back because he will get drafted in the top 10 rounds. The coaches on his new team will scratch there heads and wonder why this kid was not an every day starter. In three years he will be called up.

Ouch

We will see I think you will be surprised. He's had 17 teams talking to him, and they all understand how PM is with certain players.

I'd like to hear tdsrus' follow up explanation as to what happened.

Also, what now for Jared? Will he still be on the roster or will he transfer? Sign as a free agent (if that's possible)?

Backup QB, I'm sure CLM could use him after Jennings transfers.

He is going to transfer to SELU like a couple of our football players did.

He has no reason to stay at LSU. CPM plays favorites

Doubtful. He'd have to sit out a year unless he has already graduated which I don't think has happened.

Practices don't always tell the whole story.

Rohan was supposedly a horrible practice player. But when he took the field on Saturday nights, he lit it up. Conversely, JJ was supposedly All-World on the practice field, but then when he went into an actual game...well, you know.

Exactly. That's the difference between an average/good ball player and a great one. Throw in pressure. Something that cannot be practiced. Many people can hit practice pitches, but can you hit it with a 1-2 count bottom of the ninth playing for conference title? Or even just a normal game in front of 7,00-10,000 people?

Baseball is a game where practice earns you play time, but only numbers produced when it counts keep you there.
