Solid defense on your take about Andrew Stevenson not being fast.

Did you read the post that showed their times? They're not fast. Spitting in the face of facts then accusing someone els of a hot take. That's as hot as it gets.

Deichmann is a late first rounder. He is fast, but not home to first and doesn't get great starts on steals. But he can move and his reaction in the OF has improved 100x since the fall. He is good defensively now but not great. It's the 1 tool he doesn't have. Arm is above average. He will hit for power and average because, yes, he knows how to go oppo. Scouts are drooling over him moreso than Lange but only because they've known about Lange for 3 years and this is their first true look at Deichmann. I posted over a month ago that many were filming him with their phones after he turned the wind around vs Georgia. The ball speed he can generate is elite.

This thread. Omg.

Is this where I'm supposed to jump in and say I'd be surprised if Deichmann gets drafted before the 30th round?

Laird and Stevenson home to first and first move off the ball in the OF were the two best to ever come through LSU. Period. That's not an opinion.

Andrew Stevenson had a universal 70+ baserunning grade by all MLB scouts.

You're saying it's a fact Stevenson isn't that fast? Holy shite

Are you comparing his speed to Olympic sprinters or baseball players? His speed grading has been elite by every publication out there

Again, solid defense by MadKing here on his take that Andrew Stevenson is not fast.

Compared to what? In what? In his 60 yard sprint he's faster than the avg human is he elite baseball fast in that time? No he's over 6.7 Fraley is 6.5 and he's got very good not great speed.

Well when you're ignoring actual timed sprints and citing base running ability as speed proof it's hard not to laugh or take you seriously.

New sig quote.

It's a double dose of awesome because you couldn't spell Bregman either.

Interestingly, scouts don't give a shite about 60 times. Home to first, first to second, and reaction times mean 1000x more.

Um Stevenson was clocked at 6.49 in the 60. It's posted a couple of pages ago. Are you high?

Just to help you out
