We were so close to busting the 1st half wide open and going up big. Even if our defense still played like shite in the 2nd half, we would have had momentum and a good cushion. But not only did we keep shooting our selves in the foot, we just completely gave up the 2nd half.

Silver lining: missed opportunities show potential is clearly there to be great

Lining up on shotgun for a 4th and 6 inches play will do that to you.

I kept saying those are the situations where you go old school and get right up on the center’s arse and go right up the gut.

It was over when Lacy dropped that dime from JD. Everyone quit.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda is for close games you lost, not blowouts.

So, IOW, if we had just been coordinated with better talent making plays (execution), we would have scored more points.

Word of advice. This is not one of those "what if" games. Save it for later

Outcoached and outplayed. You won't find a reasonable football guy that will tell you any different.

Especially out coached. I’m sick of soft zone play on third and long. House learned nothing

Yeah, the reasonable guys I'm talking about that realized this would not be the year now have to consider the possibility that Kelly doesn't have the pieces in place for next year.

And I don't mean personnel.

The coaches screwed the pooch on the goal line. No question and then, right on cue, 5 takes a sack on 4th down.

I’m not saying we were the better team or anything like that. Just makes me sick how many missed opportunities there were.

I counter that with FSU probably should have been up at the half but had some bad mistakes on offense...bad drops, turnovers, etc. that kept us up front.

Once they cleaned up their shite in the second half, we got boat raced. FSU was just better from a coaching and personnel standpoint. I didn't think I'd come away from the game with that impression but its true.

I think House is the second coming of “Third and Chavis.”

sure but we also need to adjust and realize what CFB is now, its video game football and the object is to outscore your opponent and the D just get enough stops.

Game managers like JD just aren't going to have you competing for titles anymore.
