What option of the 4 do you want with JJ?

Assuming he'll be back on the team shortly:
1) Backup role to Lee, only when needed (roles reversed from last year).
2) Redshirt and come back next year.
3) Open the competition back up between Lee and JJ, or even a 50/50 split on snaps.
4) Transfer out

Use him as a package player. He had his shot to run the team and he blew it. It's Lee's job now.

1) I know he has had his struggles but having a senior QB on the bench that has SEC experience is not a bad thing.

If he does come back he remains the #2 and you only bring him in on option plays.
Same way we handled RP with Flynn in 07.

I'm fine with situational snaps, but I don't want him coming in during mop up and taking away snaps from Mett.

4) Third string QB, occasionally used in mop up duty (such as HC night so his parents can watch him), and perhaps as a holder on special teams. Then gone next year.
