What you seem to be forgetting is that if anything on the title IX case is true he can be dismissed with cause and that would nullify his contract and buyout. When a HC is terminated it is up to the next HC to keep or let go all the other coaches. When a HC is fired all contracts are up in smoke

So is that what you’re hanging yours hopes on? The Title IX case? Good luck with that coming to fruition any time soon. We’re stuck like chuck. Those coaches aren’t going anywhere anytime soon buddy.

This is exactly why you cut bait now, name Raymond interim HC and try to save face with some of these dudes. Shove the Title IX stuff in O's face and negotiate a smaller buy out.

I think in any other year, absolutely. Just not this year. LSU athletic dept took one on the chin in 2020. They don’t have the money to spend on a buyout and rehire. They’re gonna make O deal with the hire he chose.
