2004 Capital One Bowl Iowa 30 LSU 25
2005 Peach Bowl LSU 40 Miami (FL) 3
2006 Sugar Bowl LSU 41 Notre Dame 14
2008 Chick-Fil-A Bowl LSU 38 Georgia Tech

Favorite would have to be Georgia Tech.. only because the guys we sat by were yelling at us.. "Triple Option!! Triple Option!!! What do you know about that triple option!!!"

They were gone by half time and didn't return.

I've been to all these LSU bowl games, and my favorite bowl game was the Sugar Bowl win over Illinois because IMO that was the year LSU was officially back on the map in terms of becoming an elite program again.

Exactly, which is why the 2002 Sugar Bowl is the hat I wear the most.

However, though I've been to every Sugar Bowl in my lifetime in which LSU played, my favorite will always be the 2007 BCSCG. Sitting in the OSU section, having to listen to people's sarcastic bullshite in the first quarter and then watching my dad torture their fans when LSU began to dominate will always hold a sacred place in my heart. The guy sitting next to him actually got up out of his seat during the third quarter and watched the rest of the game from the aisle.

Solid. Fricking. Gold. Baby.

2000 Peach Bowl LSU 28 Georgia Tech 14
2003 Sugar Bowl (BCS National Championship Game) LSU 21 Oklahoma 14
2005 Peach Bowl LSU 40 Miami (FL) 3
2006 Sugar Bowl LSU 41 Notre Dame 14
2007 BCS National Championship Game LSU 38 Ohio State 24
2008 Chick-Fil-A Bowl LSU 38 Georgia Tech 3
2009 Capital One Bowl Penn State 19 LSU 17

I've only made it to these... The comeback victory over Georgia Tech in 2000 is probably the most memorable..

back then in 1972 .. there really wasn't an SEC rotation and LSU hardly ever played Tennessee .. We played them two years later in Tiger Stadium and I think beat them for the first time in 41 years ..
