Arkansas 50, No. 1 LSU 48, 3OT, November 23, 2007

I never thought a 2 loss team (both from 3 OT's) would make it into the championship game. After both the Kentucky loss, and subsequently, the Arkansas loss, I swore I would not watch LSU football until the next season.

I.was.a.fool.

We go down 14-3 at half time and it's feeling a little bit overwhelming.

EVERYBODY remembers the Yeldon scamper. What not all remember is that they also scored on a “2-minute drill” drive just before halftime. I was so pissed off we gave up that drive playing some pansy defense.

So of their 3 drives, 2 of them came as 2-min drills.

Thanks Chavis!

2003 Florida - Shite weather, lackluster energy from the crowd, including myself. I woke up sick that day and didn’t tailgate at all. Left the game early with a splitting headache.
2004 Iowa - Frick Saban
2005 Tennessee - all the emotion from Katrina and Rita came crashing down.
2009 Penn State - incredibly hungover, shitty field, shitty weather
2014 Regional loss to Houston when we had the mfer won
2016 SR vs Coastal Carolina
2017 CWS finals

Alabama 2012 & 2014 are two of my favorite nights ever spent in Tiger Stadium. Everything about those days was absolutely perfect. Campus was rocking. Stadium was rocking. Atmosphere was everything you could ever ask for. Only down fall is the last few minutes of each of those games, but Tiger Stadium has to be really good to be as good as it was for each of those games.

2012 bama like others have said

Mett couldn't be stopped. One 1st down away from ending it. Les Miles is our coach.

You already knew what was going to happen.

I’ve never seen a game like 2012 bama where we had all of the momentum in the 2nd half just to squander it at the end. That 2nd half was magical in person. That was as stunned as I’ve ever been leaving tiger stadium.

Our tickets are in 214. I've never taken that walk the way it was taken that night. So quiet and sad. People murmuring and in shock. Wasn't just the LSU fans either. Even the Bama people couldn't believe what had happened and were ready to get out of there.

2005 TN game was the hottest fricken game I ever attended, it was still over 100 degrees at 9pm. The complete lack of coaching and effort in the second half really pissed me off about the Miles hire.

No excuse to lose that game.

I was at that game. Sat with Johnny's family. Up 16 at half it should have been over. Jordan Mickey was so weak he could barely get up and down the court. He missed 2 layups and i think 4 FTs in the last couple of minutes that cost us the game. I knew we could have beaten Nova in the 2nd round too.

2012 Bama in Tiger Stadium.

It was one of the most exciting games I have seen in the stadium.....and equally the most tragic thanks to the last 45 seconds of the game.

We kept Bama in check all night and on that last series, here comes the Chavis Prevent Defense (Approved by Milestard) to lose the game.

73 vs Tulane.......79 vs USC........82 vs Tulane.......2012 vs Bama. (My top loses) Could not pick which one of those provided the most agony......

Speaking of ND, The last 2 games have been infuriating. 2014 Music City Bowl and 2017 Citrus Bowl. Both very sloppy games and LSU played poorly in both. I was at the Citrus Bowl and it was beyond maddening.

Hallmark Les Miles coaching. No gameplan, no pride, no nothing and you saw that in the team. Both ND teams were weak and should've gotten mauled by LSU.

And you might say who cares, but I care about all time CFB history and LSU history. Games in and of themselves aren't a big deal, but it's how you build an all time great winning record and have winning records against the other legendary programs like ND. Chances like that don't come around all that much so it's imperative to take advantage. Same could be said for that shitty arse loss to Pedo State and Joe Paterno.

Or in this case, thanks to those two pathetic losses, we have a losing record against ND.

So many pathetic, inexcusable losses to worse teams because Miles was an stubborn dumbass.

Miles is not fired, the offense never changes, Joe Burrow does not transfer to LSU, and arguably the greatest college football season of all-time doesn't happen.

This is so true. Watching Miles' offense after 2008 is absolutely brutal. Remember the feeling you had when we had a 3rd and 5 or more with Les?
