What kind of impact will Q Leslie have?

I keep reading that Q has established himself as a solid #2 with the Diarse injury.
What kind of year do y'all think he'll have?

Will be the number 3 after Diarse comes back, and possibly will fall to 4th behind Trey Quinn in the fall.

Leslie has the potential to become the biggest story out of the spring practices.

Really pulling for him. He's been through a lot the last couple of months.

I feel like that spot belongs to B. Harris.

I know we haven't seen much video but Diarse looks pretty unimpressive with his hands and speed.
Q Leslie should be the #2
Q Leslie should be the #2

It looks like Diarse is slow in the few videos I've seen. I know he'll probably be a slot guy who runs inside slants, crosses, seam routes but he doesn't seem to have much burst. I may be wrong and hopefully I am.
It all depends on the certain formations we run this year. If it's a 3 WR set (Twins Split, Trips open, pro-twins) I'd like to see Dural, Q on the outside and Diarse on the inside. But once Dupre and Quinn arrive it'll all change. I really believe those 2 will play a lot this season.

Couldn't he be the big deep threat we need?

Not to take anything away from the older guys, but the WR competition starts in the fall IMO.

Sure but can he beat out Malachi?

Still think he needs to add 15-20 pounds on him if he's going to be a mainstay at WR. His potential is certainly noticeable.

I agree. I want Leslie, Dural, and Dupre to be our outside guys to stretch the field and Quinn Diarse be the slot guys. Obviously they should be interchangeable but that would be ideal IMO

Yeah I'd like to see Dural really separate himself this spring. I'm just not sure Leslie will put the weight on that he probably needs. It sounds like Diarse has had some catching issues too. I do think we'll be okay with our short to intermediate passing game though. I expect Dupre and Quinn to get early PT.

As of now, QL is #2. The practices I went to he caught everything cathcable. Nice hands.
I'm a huge Diarse fan but he looks like a great athlete trying to play receiver, you can hear the ball hit his hands.
MD should get some deep stuff but he needs some weight (QL also), TQ dunno.

I think chi is going to be great too but you can't say this before he even steps on the field

Well QL was only on the field for like 4 plays last year

He may need to but I don't think its going to happen. I mean he's been with the team for a year now and he's still rail thin.

I'm ready to see how QL does against live DBs, cause he is thin.

I saw on a Nola article that he was going through a lot of shite a while back (I believe still is) but seems like he is getting after it. That blog at TigerRag talked about him playing with the ones (Diarse with the twos), last thursday, then he goes for 135 and 3 TDs of 4 catches saturday.
I love to hear that and it makes me remember Beckham dominating the spring game last year with over 200 yards and multiple TDs. Maybe the light has finally come on for him. If it has, I see him as the yardage and TD leader. Hoping we can get the slightly poorer man's version of Greene and Benjamin from FSU in Leslie and Dural. I see Diarse as the #3 and back up #2 and Quinn as the slot man. Dupre is hopefully ready by that time to back up Dural or maybe even Peterson.
