Sometimes I believe that App fans are delusional. I'm as big an App fan as anybody and I would like to think that our D is as good as LSU's, but it's not. PERIOD. Not even close.
Our D did very poorly last year in my opinion up unilt hte last couple of games in the playoffs. I think they semi-played well against UM. I thought they did great when I was actually at the game, but then when I watched the video the other night, I was like...O wow.
I'm hoping that our Defensive Coaches have prepared our boys enough to hang with LSU's O-line, but this whole "We are going to stop the run" thing is a little far-fetched.
It may sound like I don't have confidence in our team, and that is completely untrue. I know that our boys will play their asses off and will give 100%. Now, whether or not that means App wins, no one knows or will know until 0:00 hits at the end of the game.

1st LSU offensive play. D Byrd fly pattern = Touchdown. Then we pound it with punishing, fast RB's. Apps demoralized and realize they don't want any part of LSU. Nevertheless, I respect the App State. Welcome to Louisiana, Baton Rouge and 93,000 fans. Have a safe trip down and fun while your here but you will get your arse handed to you with a beer to go.

In the history of the NFL, Ap State has had only 23 players to ever play in the NFL. By comparison. LSU has 47 in the NFL as we speak AND in history has had 254 players in the league.
