My favorite is a pretty routine call, he's done it to close about 78% of the football games the last 10 years.

Blake Dean grand slam vs. Alabama in Hoover. For some reason that one stuck with me.

Warren Morris. Jim spoke at the N.O. Quarterback Club two weeks ago and said that was his favorite.

There isn't one. Jim Hawthorne is the worst sports announcer that I have ever heard for any team. That much is undeniable.

Mine was back during the Harvey Williams day. LSU was on the road playing A&M I believe. He was describing Harvey's run as if he broke through 5 tackles and was about to take it to the house but it was only a 3 yard gain.

I def think of the Morris homer but a couple others come to mind.

1993 hit to put us in the final game "the stretch and the pitch, swung on and into right field, TIGERS WIN, TIGERS WIN, Walker drives in Rios, and the tigers will play for the national championship on Saturday.

2000 "Here's the stretch the 0-1, swung on line drive base hit! Theriot rounds third he heads for home, here's the throw he is .. SAFE! TIGERS WIN! TIGERS WIN!"
